I'm coming round to the idea that we should let Freddie open. He's looking out of form in the middle order and we have a massive problem scoring enough runs in the early overs. With the field in even his mishits should fall safe. Then bring Strauss in for Joyce and bat him lower down. Would keep Vaughan - great captaincy to get Vaas out yesterday and i don't think Joyce is that much more likely to get runs than him to offset the captaincy advantage Matt

BTW Vaughan is a shadow of his former self and I'd stick Strauss in there as captain (Yes, I know his form has dipped recently) and Pieterson shouldn't open, he should come in at number 3 ... number 4 for test matches. Impressed with Bopara yesterday now if we could just find a decent strike bowler we'd be half decent! > On Wed, April 4, 2007 7:06 pm, Richard Walker wrote: >> Doing well int he ? >> Of course , all you cricketing experts on this list >> know best. > > Two words: "Mike" & "Brearley" > > > _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
