1st wedding we played on the night before and I went to the game. I think we
beat Cambridge United 3-1 (just checked Jabba's site and I was right with
team and score). 2nd time we beat Stoke 2-0 (Jabba's site tells me it was
4-0 but at least I got the team right). 3rd time I got married on a Monday
and we didn't have a game!

Brian, are you addicted to wedding cake by any chance?!!
Stick to the reffing lad - it's much safer!
Shameful I know, but I haven't a clue who we were playing on my wedding day
- 14th September 1985. I was more interested in slipping out of the
reception to get a bet on Oh So Sharp to win the St Leger; thankfully it
obliged, although the profit was nowhere near enough to pay for my divorce
which eventually went through last Summer!! Never again!!
