Both are on loan. Stack actually started very well, neither gets much
support from whats in front of them. I hope Casper joins, I agree he looks
the better of the two.
Agreed Thompson and Flo haven't played enough but you can't blame Wise for
this, injuries to the two have cut their chances to help us out down to a
minimum, but surely what you saw of the two was better than the dross
we've put up with recenmtly (By that I mean 3 years now!)

Not necessarily Wise's fault, wuite possibly the bloke himself. Sprin g
was a bloody good footballer IMHO but had real issues surrounding his wife
and felt better down near his roots. I actually think (Obviously not
knowing what goes on behind the scenes) Wise has handled this faurly well
and told the bloke he ain't leaving now as Luton are one of our relegation
contemporaries!

True, but Dowie wasn't available at the time as he was in the Premiership
and hardly likely to pack that in to drop back down a league. Plus it
would havce jkust meant more payments to ex managers!

I never said he was a good bloke, merely that your original opininion of
him was your person al opinbion and not based on any known fact.

Same here if, 10 years down the line, we look back at what they did overall.

Neither did I. Even in the pre Wilko days, I never felt this bad. For gods
sake we're going to be a 3rd division team for the 1st time IN OUR
HISTORY! But that is NOT all Wise's fault. What Blackwell did in that 1st
season was amazing considering what he had to play with. The problem was
in the long run he dwelt on that too soon and never had the balls to push
on, played it too safe (consiracy theories aside) and ultimately blew his
(and ours) big chance towards the last third of last season.

Shit, isn't it?
