I think you can summarise most of the players into a few categories; Good enough and generally playing well - Lewis, Marques, Kishishev (based on 1 game) Doing their best but not really upto it - Stack, Heath, Douglas, Moore, Foxe Good enough but out of form or not fit - Cresswell, Healy, Blake, Flo, Thompson, Richardson, Derry Waste of Space - Nicholls, Kandol Missing - Carole, Kelly Unfortunately we need to have 7or 8 in the doing well rather than the injured or out of form category. Looking at our team list sat and reflecting on the list reports Stack - honest enough, not quite good enough but OK if the rest are doing ok? Heath, -honest enough. limited, but when playing to the limitations and hoofing it AND partnered by someone who knows what he's doing will be OK Kishishev - early days but an encouraging start (Carole - not really featured so probably not good enough. But then again, what about Rui? Richardson - never blamed for our defeats never managed to establish himself. 'one of ours ' just about ok? Marques - a revelation and could be a reason we stay up (if we do) Howson - a youth product breaking in, has to be honest enough. Good enough? Maybe not. Too bad? Not really (Blake 45) - sounds to be often our only source of creation, not fit enough but could be a major reason for staying up Douglas - sounds like he's honest enough and hardworking enough - if not very able. Will not be the reason we go down? Lewis, have heard little serious criticism since he went to LB. Has quality, only attitude problem reported seems laziness. Can help us stay up. Cresswell sounds honest enough, if he can stay fit, will assist, finds scoring form - will be the reason Healy, unfortunately sounds like he's not up for it...we do have other strikers so maybe he's not all bad. Moore - great effort I gather. No great quality but he should be useful Ankergren,- no real problems here, doesn't sound like he'd be the cause of our going down Johnson - who knows? I was thinking it would be worth throwing him on with 30 to go v Weds, give him a chance to show (however on the other hand you could say we came close to snatching a point with out him) Foxe - no great shakes, but like heath, with a decent partner should be able to get away with it..just? Others Nicholls - P**s off derry - hmmm, is there an attitude problem If not, he's ok isn't he? kelly - not sure what's up here, can't imagine he'd bring the club down (but I'd've said that about batty too) flo/thompson/relliot - is their presence (on the payroll) likely to have an effect on morale? Otherwise, should be useful if/when available? sa - young keen and decent enough (wolves games excluded) elliot t - beckford - are we saving him (and his confidence) for next season? Are kandol/johnson better options? Kandol - sounds honest enough, but just not good enough so hope we don't need to rely on him. Wise - seems to have made the right moves and noises, but has he got the dressing room? (kelly, mole, nicholls, ???). Has he got the tactics (seems defence needs attention its not getting - but we're only just losing most games, formation is not creating chances although there were loads v Weds). Odd phenomenon we seem to have good first halves but consistently crap 2nd. He certainly hasn't got the results nor the concommitant belief that the palyers sop desperately need. Maybe unlucky the transfer window wasn't able to change that. Gustavo. Maybe he'd have more effect on the pitch than the training ground?
