Good report - I concur. Especially good point about Foxe, his distribution is good, pity that he is a defender that can't defend.

I'd like to home on Mr Wise if I may. What the f*ck does he actually do with the team in training? With the amount of possession we had in the 1st half this game should have been dead & buried but as usual our chances were limited to set pieces. Gregory changed things at half time, swamped the midfield and basically QPR gave us a lesson in getting the ball down and playing and using width. They could easily have won last night.

QPR's centr-halves were smoking cigars in the 2nd half - we just hoofed the long ball. I dont think this lot are fit enough. We cant press for 90 minutes, players are stood about and god forbid anyone having the mental strength to get the game by the scruff of the neck and try to do something different..

Wise is going to get us relegated, I just cannot fathom the optimism some of you lot show in this bloke. Playing Healy & Blake in the same 11 is a luxury we cannot afford. Blake should be 1st name on the team every game. He just let them boss the midfield 2nd half and did nothing - what a little cockerney plonker!

I managed to get 7 people there last night that would not normally go. As a ST holder I have no problems with lowering the prices to increase attendances. All my mates felt sorry for me because I am having to watch this crap every week. A correct pricing policy is one thing but you must have a team that is worth watching and this lot arent.

I am at the point where I am relieved that we are away every other weekend and dont have to go to ER.

When I saw the teamsheet last night I thought it
looked strong – definitely the strongest since Wise
took over : Thompson, Cresswell, Healy, Blake ,
Marques, Lewis (at LB). It just didn’t materialize
though and like others on this list I was optimistic
before last night now I think we’re doomed. Just a
complete lack of ability in the centre of the park.
We’re relying on individuals (Blake) to do something
special – that ain’t going to happen. Healy nearly did
it for us but he scuffed his easier chances. Wise
seemed happy in his post match interview – didn’t fool
me though , he knows we’re struggling.

Somebody said QPR weer rubbish. Well, yes they were
but they played twice as much decent football than us
and in the 2 strikers they had pace and broke quickly.
We couldn’t cope with that. Thank God they couldn’t
actually put the ball in the net due to some bad
finishing and brilliant keeping.

Ankergen – 9. Kept us in it. Great saves. Showed good
urgency when in possession but his team mates weren’t
on the same level and were not receptive to his
suggested roll outs, so he had to punt it long. We
seem prefer it that way !!!
Sa – 5. I thought he looked promising in his previous
performances but he looked dodgy as f’ck last night.
He’s certainly no Gary Kelly. My God do we miss Gary
Kelly,
Lewis – 7. Thought he did well, got through a load of
work. Couldn’t get forward in second half which
reduced our attacking ability by about 50%.
Heath – 5. Nearly a major bollox up in the first half
when he dithered. He’s a real donkey but he does get
the occasional good challenge in.
Marques – 7. Good pace , our best defender but
distribution shocking.
Douglas – 5. One or two good moments but he lacks
quality. His passing is more of a hit and hope long
ball strategy. His shooting his woeful as well. Wise
rates him, I don’t.
Nichols – 4. Garbage. Just ran around with no aim.
Booed by some of the crowd. Another captain who ain’t
up to the job.
Blake – 6. One or two good moments. Even though he
nearly always fails to deliver I wouldn’t have taken
him off cos he is the one player that could win you
the game at this very poor level of football.
Thompson – 6. Looked lively. Exactly what we need in
midfield but even he struggled at times to get the
play going due to the inability of the other 2
midfielders to make themselves available and play
simple pass and move football. Shame he got injured.
Was obviously rushed back by Wise.
Cresswell – 5. Tried hard but had no impact on the
game. I don’t blame him though I blame the midfield.
Healy – 6. Ditto but he did manage to handcraft a few
chances. Unlucky with the shot that hit the post which
would have been goal of the season.

Subs :

Howson – 6. Did ok in last 20 mins but he too suffered
as he got left with the ball in midfield with no
options time and time again. He’s not a bad footballer
this lad but I think he lacks a bit of pace.
Johnson – 6. Limited opportunity but looks nippy and
might offer us a bit of pace up front which we badly
need.
Foxe – 6. Got his booking , looked a bit ropey
defensively but I’ll tell you something about this lad
– he can pass a ball better than anyone in our team.
He finds simple , effective passes across the floor to
his teammates. He has good awareness. Just a shame
that his legs appear to have gone otherwise I’d make
him captain and put him in midfield.

Wise – I think he is worried. I don’t think QPRs
drubbing the other night helped us. QPR looked really
hungry and won most 50:50 challenges. They really went
for us.

Crowd – good atmosphere but could have been great if
the team had given us something to get excited about.
Very, very disappointing.
