Having checked the other options on http://www.thetrainline.com/ it seems that the fastest way to get there will be Kings Cross -Cambridge, then changing trains there to get to Norwich. This avoids Diss, so it's trains all the way, but it still takes longer than the usual Liverpool Street-Norwich route would have been if there hadn't been any engineering work. Tim W.
