Well I've been saying to my constantly crowing Man Shitty mate that I
refuse to press the panic button until the end of Feb, but if you ask me
THIS IS IT.
Wise and Poyet have done little wrong IMHO so far but have always had a
get out clause of 'not my team' 'not fit enough' blah blah blah. Well
we've seen January come and go, some new faces have come in and they've
just had a weeks jolly to get the squad TOGETHER. We now (correct me if
I'm wrong) have 5 games all against teams in the bottom half. NOW
(starting tonight) is where I either relace the emergency glass cover to
the panic button and walk away from it, or ... to put it succinctly ... we
are fucked and 3rd division football is coming to a 40,000 seat stadium
near you.
TONIGHT HAS to be the start of it all, TONIGHT HAS to be where this squad
stands up and starts to be counted ... As I think Rob said in his post ...
TONIGHT, in the real scheme of things, is THE most important game in our
recent history.
