How much have Duberry's wages dropped since he left Leeds and we stopped
making a contribution? I knew MD through a business acquaintance in
1999-2000. He was allegedly not the sharpest tool in the box and only
interested in who was funding his next vehicle purchase. Draw your own
conclusions ...

As for people getting a few knocks in a pub car park to stop them playing -
happens at all levels of football. You should try hanging out around Batley
a little more to hear some of the tales out there ...

Michael Duberry in YESTERDAY'S Daily Mail: -

(There was a) sinister plot to wipe his £24,000-a-week earnings off the wage
bill the following year.

Two club officials of a previous Elland Road administration were alleged to
have discussed sprinkling cocaine into Duberry's meal so he would fail a
drug test, as well as hiring a hit-man to break the legs of team-mate Gary
Kelly.

"They were saying they were going to pop me with drugs, but the violence
they were talking of inflicting on Gary Kelly was just sick," said Duberry.

Cheers

PS I think you'll find that your perpetual stance as a Doubting Thomas has
done for Scratchinshed. Well done.
