Exactly, the money Bates has expended on er, saving the club did not come from his piggy bank in Monaco but from the club's operation and it's supporters, had he put in even a modest £10 million we would have seen real results. Like all dodgy businessmen he's undercapitalised and unwilling to admit this. Unfortunately I can't see him doing a Fotherby and walking with a sackful of spendoolacks.
