  mark, in many ways i'm inclined to agree with you. it is all
  strange and mucky.
  i had the piece passed to me by a gooner friend, not a journo
  but with journalist connections. i was rather dubious about the
  piece and if i been more relaxed to take it in rather than 
  buzzing round all over the place on the festive tour i might
  have thought twice before posting it. however don't blame
  the ft for all the caps and stuff but me in retyping, being
  one handed and doing itr on the hoof.

  have been trying to get to the bottom of things (never mind
  talking about the t**** word thing) but not reallt got anywhere
  so dunno. the whole thing has distinct whiff about it but then
  that's rather the story of the club these days. what's needed
  is some light on things. how about some polonium being 
  spread around the ground, or at least the directors box?
  you never know what you might see in the glow ...
