The officious website is saying that Gregan's contract has been terminated
by mutual consent. I've got to say that I think Gregan could do a good job
at centre half and he is certainly better than Heath or Foxe but his has
such a poor attitude. My disappointment at his departure disappeared when my
mate sent me this C&P from the Latics message board:-
"when he was presented with his MOTM award after the Northampton game the
compere fellow said something along the lines of "dont go back to Leeds
they're near the bottom and we're going up" to which he replied "I wish they
were bottom"."
Wise clearly wanted rid so bad he wasnt even prepared to barter him for the
young winger everyone is raving about, sad and rather pathetic epitaph on
Gregan IMHO.
