Agree with others that there were a lot more positives than negatives coming
out of this match - 3 points and good displays by Sully, Marques and Nicholls
in particular which all bode well for the future. Sully deserves credit for
getting himself fit when it would be easy for him to just drift down the
divisions until retirement. As for Marques why has he not been given a chance
at centre half before ? He was a revelation.
Shame to see Frazer once again have a game cut short by injury - will he ever
be in a position to have a genuine run in the side?
Anyone know why Derry not even on bench ? Injured ?
Having said that Coventry were as bad a team as have visited ER this season
and even they were all over us for last 10 mins or so.
Once again though after a good result in the league we have a long wait for
our next league game.
Lack of buses to and from ER meant we had to get taxis and I had the
'pleasure' of sharing our minibus from the station with The Doctor !!!! It is
fair to say he is a 'character' with some fairly extreme views of things !!!!!
