Frankly, Wise ought to get his P45 straight away for naming this side. How you can leave Kilgallon, Healy and Moore on a bench and play at least three players who plainly aren't good enough for this level of football (Foxe, Kandol and Beckford) beggars belief. Sunderland were shite as well, but really they could have played far worse and still won. The only surprise was that it took them 65 minutes to stumble their way round our comedy defence. We only had two reasonable chances that I can recall, Heath wastefully heading wide from a half cleared corner in the first half, and a Richardson shot that was heading goalwards with the keeper stranded until a flying Sunderland defender got his head in the way. Finally its clear - we are going down. Oh aye, the one amusing bit? Play got stopped after a Sunderland fan threw a spare ball onto the pitch when we're attacking down the left wing .. ref has to stop the game. Two minutes later, Sunderland attack down their left wing and Poyet chucks a ball onto the pitch in protest, and gets sent off. Silly twat. So here's a You Are The Ref question - after the first two-balls-on-pitch incident, after stopping the game, what (a) should the referee have given, and (b) what did he actually do? Marks. Warner 6 - didn't have a lot to do, made one good save, not really at fault with the goals Foxe 2 - appalling. At one point I counted six passes of his in a row that went to an opponent, into touch, or aimlessly into a wide empty space devoid of Leeds players Ehiogu 6 - looks embarrassed to be associating with this shower. Surely an Ehiogu / Killa pairing must be better? Bizarrely taken off for Kilgallon rather than Foxe or Heath Heath 5 Lewis 6 - did OK despite Sunderland trying to mostly attack down that side - did they not do their homework on Foxe?! Richardson 6 Douglas 6 - probably our best player, not that that's saying much Derry 4 - invisible Westlake 5 - ditto Beckford 2 - shite. Quick, talentless and doesn't understand the offside rule Kandol 2 - ditto - can hold the ball up well but has no other qualities.
