Merry Christmas everybody.... To all of you I am giving a game this XMAS Biggest culprit of the season - Jonathon Douglas
This boy has to go. It isn't that he is crap... rather he is disabled. Commitment and trying - he gets a good score... But the boy has only got one leg... his left leg is merely prosthetic. After the Sunderland home game I realised something that was amiss. I had been watching him - I thought he ran awkwardly and wondered whether he was injured and then it hit me... He won't use his left leg - at all !!! This makes him slow up attacks by turning unnecessarily, going in the wrong way to the general direction of the attack or by taking several touches too many. In fact some of his body movement is fantastic - ala come dancing - just so he doesn't have to kick it with his left leg. He doesn't even tackle with it... IT MUST BE FALSE ! Against Hull he kept cutting in from the right which if he had a left leg could have been dangerous - but the defender always knew he had to go with his right. Other teams as poor as Hull have realised this - he's in their pocket. I have invented a new game, I count how many times he has touched the ball with his left foot. I have added all the matches together - and come up with a total so far. It passes the time whilst we wait until January and hopefully will buy a new team. I now invite you lot to join in - counting how many left peggers he does... predicting how many lefties he will do at the next match. Its caught on in my section of the ground.. maybe it can catch on here. I need someone to monitor the away games - I don't get to many - and radio Leeds is no help. It doesn't take too much brain power and can be done when pissed. My running total for 13 games watched is ................... 7 yes that’s right s...e...v...e...n - he really is that poor. And he did 3 in one match !!!! Quite surprised noone else has picked this up yet - especially the boss. Well let me know how many you count him doing - and have a look at the number of times he receives the ball and does something ridiculous so he doesn't have to use his falsey - and then ask why has it come to this ... why Douglas is a professional footballer, and why does he have to play for us ? :-( When the rest of you notice this maybe we could set up a spread bet thingy ? Those of you who go to the games merry Xmas - enjoy the new game. Those who don't - you've already got yours ! Biggest culprit of the day - Jonathan Douglas. I think today anyone who actually thought that Douglas's effort was enough to give him a place on our team surely must have realised that you can try your heart and give it your all but if you can't play football then you're not going to have a positive effect on the team. Having been pro-Douglas in the past for the reasons you have stated I have to agree with your assessment. How a player can have spent as long in the game, with all the training, practising etc.as he has and be considered good enough to represent his country and yet still traps a ball further than I can kick it is beyond my comprehension. There was a classic moment in injury time. The board went up (4 mins) and Hull were attacking. The attack broke down and ball rolled towards the corner flag. Kandol followed it and when we were all expecting him to take it and move forward he let it go out for a throwing. It was unbelievable. Thick as shit or under instruction to keep it tight and be happy with 0-0. It never occured to me he was under instructions to play for the draw! I just went for the thick as shit option. Happy Christmas to you all. It's got to get better than this ! And you, and I hope you're right -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
