I tend to agree that Wise is unlikely to have formed that opinion during his formative years and it is more likely that he remembers things that folk have said about Leeds. Lets face it as a young kid in the early seventies there were more important things to worry about like scabs, trying to get flared jeans out of bike chains, etc than analysing how dirty a football team are, especially when it isn't one that you support.
Just for the record I first went to ER in 1975 as a 5 year old and I haven't a f*cking clue as to the seasonal statistics and at that age I didn't care. Glory years memories, yep I have some but the revolve around a Rayleigh Budgie bike and Lego!!
