Steady on chaps! Old RW will soon have an ego the size of Wales at this
rate! I thought the flow of the report was OK, grammatically it was pretty
average and punctuation wise? Well that left a lot to be desired,
otherwise keep up the good work Richard. ;o)
Been away for a week and read nothing about anything in the outside world,
just cut myself of in The Dordoigne (Which was very pleasant BTW!) Return
to 400 EMails and 'the moment of truth'. I stood in the "I'd rather not,
but if it is him then lets see what he does" camp. Impressed so far, but
it's ridiculously early days at the moment. Read a very bitter and twisted
column from Rod Liddle in the Sunday Times yesterday about how Wise was
just plain lucky at Millwall and that we were ultimately going to be
disappointed, but got the distinct impression that was misdirected. The
season is far from over and this league is (IMHO) fantastic in so much as
we can have a complete mare of a start but still be 10 points off the play
offs! Ipswich can lose 5-0 at home and then beat Luton 5-0 after they beat
us 5-1! Fab stuff if you ask me!
The crunch for Wise and Poyet (Who I've always liked BTW) is January when
they truly put their stamp on the squad, but with a few mill from Chelski
in the bank, maybe that could improve us immeasurably!
