>These are the reasons I personally don't like Wise. <snipped> >What I'd do as a first priority if I was manager... Sniffer-Dog; Agree with you; it is important that Wise understand each and everyone of the players and their view of things. Only that way he can deal with it properly. There has been list postings about whats going on behind the doors, golf trip etc., and it might be an excuse for Blackwell/Carver that they were inside it all the time, and was sort of blind to it; a new manager coming from the outside was needed to actually see what was going on. Almost like you're inside a tent having a camp fire, nobody notices the smoke before one person goes out to p. and then og back inside! The first day on duty seems ok, I think. Reading the postings from the press conference etc. it seems like Wise have a plan. I mean, some of it is stating the obvious, as always, he will need time, and we have to grant him, to get to know the players and the place and the club. He made is own captain, and removing the captains mark from Butler is the first step in the process of leaving him out of the start 11. That is the first evidence of a very much needed change. (Didn't select Kelly, though...) I still doubt that any manager would take this job without a promise of some pounds to spend come January; management do some right, however, by not focusing on this at the time. What is important short term is to make sure that everybody are pulling together and in the same direction, and that Wise will discover any rotten eggs, players that actually don't want to play for Leeds with their heart outside the shirt, to get rid of them the sooner the better. So from the Norwegian jury; so far so good!
