All this talk of Wise not being a popular choice etc etc. Beggars can't be choosers and we certainly are beggars nicely poised for relegation to the third tier of English football. Whether it be Wise, Donald Duck himself or anyone for that matter willing to have a go at salvaging this veritable train crash of a club, I'm willing to tip my hat just for having a go. It would be ultimate insult if Wise were to refuse the post in favour of staying with Swindon where he's done well. I reckon he will come to us simply because he's a young manager and this offers him his biggest challenge along with his association with Uncle Ken. Also there is the fish / pond theory too - successes at Leeds would certainly outweigh successes at Swindon. I don't particularly like the guy, but if he can turn the corner for us, then I reckon I could get to like him. Survival in this Division must now be the target, if not, then we must keep dropping down until we find a level where we can survive at least.
