I've seen this point raised a couple of times now; and I doubt it is the case. Because, if it was so, then why this lack of performance this year? It was'nt the entire squad that was switched during the summer months, KB selected who to get in, and if he was _that_ genious previous season, should also be able to make the players put in a little bit of a performance this autumn as well. I think that KB had his fair chance, and he was not up to it at the end of the day. Though, I would expect Bates to have a plan once he sacked his manager... (!) (No, I don't believe that Bates' goal is to ruin Leeds as much as he can, either. Such politics would be discover by the board etc. etc...) I happen to know a little bit of running a football club and a first team. I know something about what kind of things, and indeed how small they actually are, that can remove a players focus and low performance is the result. Football is teamwork. If there is a small problem irritating one of the lads, this has a consequence for the entire side. I don't know about the dressing room rumours etc., but I have a strong feeling that something is wrong behind the Elland Road doors. And that we won't get results until they are fixed. In the current situation, I'd say that also the entire board and specially the chairman is to blame. Perhaps it's time for Bates to go?
