You both have valid points here; however what seems far more significant, to me is that WE seem to have more low points than most, if not all "GREAT" clubs... We seem incapable of building on our successes to maintain our stature, without shooting ourselves in the foot, time and again.
Which reminds me, anyone else think that (in spite of all the logical reasons, like financial mismanagement and arrogance) things really started to go sour, this time straight after the adoption of the plan to leave ER and head for a new, state of the art, curse free stadium? All we got out of that idea, was a loss of any need for a new stadium, loss of ownership of the current one and no foreseeable chance for a return to either. Those damn gypsies have a lot to f#*&ing answer for! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Terry Emmott Sent: Sunday, October 08, 2006 11:28 AM To: Dr Michael Benjamin Cc: Leeds List Subject: Re: [LU] Boring string > We were never that bad > Even with Cush & Peyton. > Michael > I don't think we're as bad now as we were under Jimmy Adamson, the all time pits in my time watching Leeds IMO. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
