You both have valid points here; however what seems far more significant, to
me is that WE seem to have more low points than most, if not all "GREAT"
clubs... We seem incapable of building on our successes to maintain our
stature, without shooting ourselves in the foot, time and again.

Which reminds me, anyone else think that (in spite of all the logical
reasons, like financial mismanagement and arrogance) things really started
to go sour, this time straight after the adoption of the plan to leave ER
and head for a new, state of the art, curse free stadium?

All we got out of that idea, was a loss of any need for a new stadium, loss
of ownership of the current one and no foreseeable chance for a return to
either.

Those damn gypsies have a lot to f#*&ing answer for!
