Is he talking about KB
or worthy, who would know???
----------------------------
What? Leeds fans seriously
want Worthington? Tell them this: 1) He can't defend. Ever since he took over Green has bailed out our defenders, if it wasn't for him, in our title winning season we'd have been mid-table... look what happened after we sold him! Class full-backs can't cope when the centre-halves are slow and can't tackle. Now see 2) for why this was never sorted out. 2) His transfer dealings are suspect. Rather than buying young Prem reserves, promising young players from lower leagues or trusting the youth system, he buys crap that no-one wants... 30-something donkey striker Peter Thorne, Carl Robinson who couldn't even get into Sunderland's relegation team, and of course Dion bloody Dublin. Loan loan loan rather than buy. Sold Leon McKenzie, a proven scorer in League 1, the Championship, and looked impressive when we were in the Prem... and not only sold him, but sold him to Coventry. Finally, Earnshaw. A quality striker, yes. But £3.5M for him? Our entire budget from the Ashton sale! On one player who wasn't fit until the start of this season because he was rotting in the West Scumich reserves. Could've picked up a couple of young defenders, a midfielder and a striker for that! 3) Tactically inept. A good start this season fell apart when, you guessed it, we were sussed. Quick wingers playing it to feet because we have one up front... Earnshaw... a short-arse. Not hard to force our wingers wide to put crosses in where there's no-one to meet them, easy catch for the keeper. Would rather play donkeys like Thorne than give England U internationals like Ryan Jarvis a chance. Rivals Sven Boring Eriksson in awful susbstitutions. 4) Captain positive. He'll never admit he made a mistake. It's always a "disappointment, the players gave their all, I can't ask any more than that" after a bad result. Never "a disgrace and I intend to sort it out". He seems to think it's okay to just let defeats wash over him, there's never a reaction. 5) Cannot defend a lead. 3-1 up to Southend, final score: 3-3. That's just the latest example. We're champions of getting second half goals to win the game, but we can't defend a lead. See also 1) Leeds are screwed if they appoint Worthy. He's lost the plot, and everyone in the division knows how to cope with his inept tactics. NO, NO, NO
Have you ever had a conversation with a
Norwich fan? He'd take us to depths that not even KB could achieve!
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of Sean Emmott Sent: Sun 01/10/2006 18:27 To: [email protected] Subject: [LU] Grandad Sacked - Would You? Well, he's experienced at our level and he has succeeded before (getting
Norwich promoted). To be honest, I wouldn't say no given that: 1) Curbishly probably isn't interested 2) Carver is an unknown quantity 3) Ranieri is probably too expensive and has not been involved in the English game for years, and never at this level 4) Wise is a c**t. 5) Hoddle is bonkers 6) Kerr is useless 7) O'Leary can't be as lucky with the yuoth players again 8) Strachan is busy winning things elsewhere. As long as they don't make him playermanager we should be OK |
