Whilst looking on the t'internet this morning I found an obscure article saying that the italian motorcycle apparel firm Alpinestars are trying to get hold of a sample of Kevin Blackwell's skin for testing.
A spokesman said "We have studied Kevin Blackwell closely and he seems to be a very unique individual, we believe that the composition of his skin appears allows him to be able to come into contact with abrasive material (Leeds fans) and can withstand puncture damage (ceremonial swords).
We strongly believe that a material of this strength could revolutionise the motorcycle industry, the quality of the suits that we will be able to make from this material will enable motorcyclists to deflect all manner of shit thrown at them whilst making them feel indestructable. The only problem we can foresee it that it may cause chaffing"
