At least tonight should make the decision easy and clear-cut. If he's still
manager in 24 hours' time, I will be so angry. I'm quite sure he'll go
somewhere else in the lower leagues and do OK but, for us, it would without
question be better to have no manager over the next few games - anything to
shake things up, and maybe let the senior players and Carver influence
tactics.
I can't see them ever scoring more than the occasional goal, so the improved
play this season means nothing. It was better last year when they were
winning games against the run of play.
Nothing personal against Kevin. He'll find something else soon enough.
How hard can it be between games, though, to give the team a plan for how
they are going to score a goal? There's no evidence this is ever discussed
or practised during the week. They know they'll get somewhere between 5-10
corners in a typical game, but all corners are just floated in without pace
or purpose. Just one illustration of what multiple coaching badges don't
teach you, I suppose.

Come on, Ken. Make the change now. It'll get more bums on seats as well.

Blackwell's response?

"I'm going to keep on doing my job and I've already turned this club around
from nothing.
"If you look where we've come from, with no players, then I think I can turn
this around - no problem.

"I think the fans are fed-up with what has happened at Leeds. They can see a
situation at Sunderland, where someone comes along and pumps millions into
the club - and they think `why can't it be us?'

"They've had four or five years of being kicked where it hurts and they've
seen their best players being sold.

"I think the fans need to know the real truth about this football club - but
I don't think it will ever come out in the short term. "

Usual bollocks - still Kev, when you get the push tomorrow you can tell us
all about what that last paragraph meant.
