I'm having trouble reconciling two accounts -
First-
A row has broken out after Saturday's clash between the clubs with Bluebirds
deputy chief-executive Ridsdale claiming he was thrown out of the boardroom
by Bates, claims that have been labelled a pack of lies by Leeds chairman
Bates.
AND -
Bates said in a statement on Monday: "As ever Mr Ridsdale continues to
be out of touch with reality.
"My words, in front of a number of witnesses, were 'you're no longer
welcome in the boardroom at Elland Road'.
"If he was ever banned from Elland Road it would purely be for safety
reasons."
