The cheapest walk-up adult ticket for Saturday was £26. If I remember correctly that's six quid more than the cheapest tickets for the last season in the Premiership. With those prices I reckon 22,000 isn't bad at all.

Attendance 22,417??? are there just about 18-thousand turncoats from the 40,006 or so sell-out? Seems we have a problem. One difference to there compared to here......like ice hockey.....the Vancouver Canucks aren't even close to winning anything...yet every game last two seasons were sold out.....sure almost 20-thousand......But give us a larger indoor arena and it would still be sold out. Maybe if the turncoats would show up, old Ken would spend a bit more and get players who could take us back to the PL. I couldn't believe the attendance after all, it's game one of the new season. Bloody awful. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
