Birmingham and Sunderland both have £6m parachute payments. Also Birmingham have just sold Heskey for £5m+ (how has that bloke managed to be continually bought for such high transfer fees??). Birmingham have no debts to speak of, they therefore SHOULD be able to spend shedloads. Still no guarantee mind.
