The newly shorn one is clearly a, but not the, key player however he was surplus to requirements when Palace were in the premier ship. Did he not make an immediate impact? I'm sure I remember tales of market fry-ups and what proved to be a rarity, a Derry goal? I don't think there is much evidence of him blossoming under KB. Can you think of anyone else, Sean, preferably someone who will inspire with confidence for the forthcoming season?
