A few hours after sending this message Mr Woolmer's optimism had disappeared - as he was sitting in the back of an ambulance on the way to a French hospital to have his leg stitched;
He's OK and managed to play a full part in 4 Lards running up a 300 Euro plus bar bill last night - but can listers guess how this injury happened;
A) Tackling a girl as the Lards lost to Etampe Feminin
B) Tripping over the Player of the Tournament trophy
C) Playing rugby with a 5 year old.
