I don't agree with most of this. For a start, forget
Mark Bright ask the championship managers who
Blackwell was up against whether they thought
Blackwell did a good job. All of them would have loved
the money that Blackwell had and most of them given
the size and quality of the squad would have managed
to find a system that would have netted us more than 9
points from our last 10 games. I am sure of that. Also
pundits such as Eddie Gray who rarely has a bad word
to say about Leeds will admit that Leeds haven't
played well all season and that we have been heavily
dependent on set pieces to get us out of trouble.

Wilko - sorry Paul but how can you flippantly say that
Wilko 'only won one title'. For Christ's sake it was
the Leagud Div One title !!! Some teams have never won
that - Newcastle for one and even the great Don Revie
only managed it twice despite being dominant for
years. You have to remember that ssum had gone 25
years without winning it despite having such managment
greats. Also 3 years prior to winning this 'only
title' we were 4th bottom of the second division under
Billy Bremner. Wilko took over and we immediately went
on a 17 match unbeaten run. He was a good manager and
nobody can doubt that. Yes things turned sour towards
the end - in a manager's career things usually do -
Howard Kendall being a good example.
'Only one title' - I liked that one Paul. I wonder
when we will win this title again. Probably not in
mine + yours lifetime.

Ok, I'll rephase. I reckon Warnock, Coppell and
Boothroyd would have all taken Leeds up automatically.

I think my match verdict on King was as a result of
playing him left wing. I'll have a trawl through my
match reports but I reckon I probably also commented
that he wasn't a left winger and with his pace he
should be playign up front.

Irrelevant. Just cos he spent more money and had a
bigger squad and got them into the play offs does that
mean he's better than the Crewe manager that whopped
his ass at their place workign on a shoestring. I
dont' think so.

Well if we start the way we finished the season we
will be inthe bottom 3. If luck runs out like it did
at Cardiff and a lot of times in those last 13 games
or so we'll struggle and Blackwell will be out.
