I'm a Season Ticket holder and occasional away goer. I don't think I'll ever
rate Kevin Blackwell as anything more than a fairly average manager. I don't
know anyone apart from people on this list who do rate Blackwell as a
manager.
For what it's worth, I think he's a nice bloke too. I like him, I just don't
think he's good enough. He's also done better than I expected him to do, but
that doesn't mean we couldn't have one better. Remember kids, it was in our
own hands with 7 games to go.

Ok, I'm going to get slated for bringing back the "Real Fan" argument but
most of the Blackwell IN vs OUT debate seems to relate to how many matches
you see. Most of the people I know who go to matches (myself included) are
sick of the uninspired, insipid football and baffling tactics we see week
in
/ week out. However most of the people I know who don't go can't
understand
my view as all they see are the stats. "We MUST be better, we finished
higher".....hmm....
I actually LIKE Blackwell as a bloke, I think he's doing the best he
possibly can, problem is that I think with the players he has we should
have
walked the league this year!
