Title: omens

You're not going to believe this, but my teenage daughter (who is scandalously ill-informed on all things football, but is gradually learning about proper rock [ish] music as she downloads stuff from the 70s and 80s) suddenly dropped this bombshell over the dinner table this week: "You know who is really great?  Elton John."

I immediately sent my son to the computer to try and even out the omens by downloading some great stuff by Ronnie Hilton, but, to my astonishment, apparently he couldn't do it. (I thought this internet thing was supposed to be great!)

Then I remembered the Kaiser Chiefs.

Phew................it was a close call, but I think we're gonna be OK.
