That's right I was not.
But I was @ ER @ the age of 4 over 58 years ago.
Since then there have been a lot of downs & some ups.
But on Sunday night I was proud & elated.
I cannot get my head around the whinging & moaning.
Ever since Sunday I have been walking on air.
It was one of those nights to be remembered. It was special.
It was Leeds United.
So what if you had to queue. Someone put a gun to your head?
You were there because you support Leeds United as was everyone else.
When do you guys get down to enjoying yourselves.
Michael
Mike,
You must know I'm one of the most positive people on the list (almost to the
point of needing your services :)), but yesterday was one of those days when
you think that the club doesn't deserve you!! Stuff happening on the pitch
that makes no sense to me I can tolerate because I've only got a fan's
perspective on professional football, so there has to be a huge amount of
knowledge & skills that I don't even know I don't know (if you see what I
mean). On the other hand, part of my job is to provide health care to
12,000 people, which is a lot more complicated than selling bloody football
tickets, so at least I have an insight into organising a business - and
there are a lot more listers who know more about this than me.
At least they seemed to have learned from their mistakes and have had the
bottle to reorganise today how they sell the tickets.
The only reason I can think of for letting members buy tickets as soon as ST
holders is that the membership scheme is lone of Bates' great money making
brainwaves, and therefore had to be made to work at all costs. Kind of like
anything Patricia Hewitt thinks of...
Cheers,
Sean
