I've only read about it but I think Scumchester played the following night
away at Aston Villa.  After Leeds had drawn, both teams were on equal
points. It was back in the days of 2 points for a win, and Goal AVERAGE
rather than difference.

Leeds draw had as-good-as given the title to Scum, as they had to lose 19-0
for the title to go to Leeds.  They did end up losing 2-0 or 2-1, can't
remember which.

Both the games were postponed from earlier in the season.  Leeds chose to
play theirs on the Monday because of the cup final the following weekend.
