I don't think we will bottle it as such, I have two concerns;

1. The other side, whoever they are, play a blinder. Whilst I don't think
we will bottle it, I don't think we will play a blinder - we will be steady
throughout.

2. I always get the feeling our players never 'seize the day'. This goes
back as long as I remember. In other words when it comes to 2 legged
affairs we almost seem to settle for a result in the 1st leg we wouldn't
otherwise do, thinking we can more easily win the second leg, which is
always possible if not probable, but we never seem to do it.

I am therefore torn as to where I want us to play the first leg.. I would
normally say away because in theory we could turn round a 2-0 deficit at
home. However we often have a better chance of winning away, because the
other side attacks, so I definitely don't want a first away leg where we
settle for holding them to a draw or defeat by 1 goal, and leave it to the
home leg.

On the other hand if we played at home first leg there is every chance
whoever we played will try and keep it tight, and we all know we have
problems with sides who do that.

What we need to do is therefore play away first leg and go for the win, then
when we play at home at least the other side has to attack us. However I
just know if we played away first and we concede an early goal we would
settle for 0-1.
