On another point, do any of the OFOTL (Old Fogies On
The List) remember the details of the final match of
the 1965 season?  I was only 10 at the time and not
really aware of what was going on, but I seem to
recall that we drew 3-3 at Birmingham and ended up
losing the title to Man U on goal average. How did the
scoring go in that game, and were Man U playing their
last game at the same time, and if so what was the
result of that?

I'm relying on what I've read about it in Billy's
autobiography "You Get Nowt For Being Second", since I
wasn't even born then.
