OK, that's two sets of different results - how about I add a third set?

Have done this in spreadsheet from (doncha just love google & the net?), and can be found here:-

I agree with the premise that if we beat Preston by 2 goals, we're the best placed team out of the four.

IF I have read results correctly it would be
Preston 9 pts
Us and Palace 8 pts
Watford 3 pts
With us and Preston to play each other so got game in hand.
Putting home reult first
Watford = lost & drew v Palace
               lost & drew v Preston
               drew and lost v LUFC
Palace =  lost & won v LU
               drew & lost v Preston
Preston = drew away with LU

Not much to say about the game really, we played well enough and seem to have come out of our slump. Good to see Healy scoring a cracker especially with Hulse ending his goal drought on Saturday.
Was a good header from Bakke to open the scoring just a shame it was in the wrong net. We shold probably  have had a penalty and Douglas missed our best other chance, but from my beer goggled eyes (was drinking in Sheffield from 3pm) we seemed to match them in every department. Although for me once again Miller was a dissappointment - he always seems to stop instead of driving on when he has the ball in a good attacking position and is very reluctant to shoot - I just get the impression that he could and should be better than he is.

It seems wierd that in the 4 games against the 2 promoted teams we gained four 1-1 draws. This bodes well for the play offs since it is against the weaker teams that we seem to come unstuck - we have beaten and drawn with Watford, beaten and lost to Palace and drawn at home to Preston so there is not much to choose between the four play off teams.
