Hard to get excited- decent player in his day but that day seems some time ago
- a big target man may help our new system but his injury record is poor A stat
I’ve just seen “ —-“Patrick Bamford scored as many goals in his first Premier
League season (17) as Dominic Calvert-Lewin has managed across the last four
seasons in the top flight combined.”Hopefully the medical will be really tough
and he will keep fit and turn out to be exactly what we need but it is
underwhelming after being linked with so much better players Losing Paddy,
Joffy and Joseph was no great loss given how things have gone but Nmecha and
DCL on free transfers does not look to be an upgrade ? Hope I’m wrong and both
get over their injury issues and become the players they looked like being a
few years ago
Still looking forward to Monday in a game that, ridiculous as it sounds, has a
“must win “ feel about it . If we don’t beat Everton at home , who do we beat ?
