Agree more with Rich N than the naysayers. We mainly believe that if we had
got James last January we would have edged over the line and been promoted,
well we have gone one better in a proven talent in CostaWe have got rid of dead
wood like de bock, sakho, idiguchi etc and some of the young lads who we think
are not up to it - willkes, halme etc
We have lost 3 first teamers albeit one a back up in Roofe , Jansson and BPF
and here is where the gamble will lie , all 3 have been replaced by talented
but unproven youngsters. Is white better than Pontus, is Nketiah going to have
a better goals to chances ratio than Rooofe and is Meslier a better back up
than BPF ? If they come close or are better than the ex players we will be
fine - Clarke (albeit he is now not ours) should be better as should shackleton
and even Kiko , we also have Bogusz and Davis coming through whereas only
Pablo may be worse than last year but the addition of Costa and the emergence
of Bogusz should take some of the weight off him and allow him to be rested
more often
So to me , things are looking good

Our best defender, top goalscorer and best youngster sold for millions to be
replaced by an Arsenal U-23 loanee who is apparently a wonderkid but has only
played 8 times for Arsenal in ve been etc last 2 years. I'd be pretty disgusted
by that. Still a few hours to go though so I'll save my criticism till then.
