... good news? If true (big if), this looks pretty positive....

Bielsa '80 per cent' certain to stay at Leeds

Marcelo Bielsa is 80 per cent certain that he will stay on as Leeds boss.

The Elland Road outfit feared their veteran Head Coach would quit after failing
to guide the Whites to promotion back to the Premier League in his first season
at the helm.

But, following crunch talks with owner Andrea Radrizzani and director of
football Victor Orta, Bielsa is ready to make another attempt at returning the
Yorkshire giants to the top flight after an absence of 16 years.

The Argentinian chief, 63, could have triggered a release clause in the
two-year deal he penned on arrival last summer after being pipped to automatic
promotion by Sheffield United, then losing in the play-offs to Derby.

But Bielsa is set to tell Radrizzani and Orta he wants to stay after getting
the assurances he was seeking over transfer budgets for the summer and next
January, contract renewals, and improvements to the training ground.
