I've not contributed to the lisy for several months because I've had a pretty
hectic time of late in my personal life.

Consequently the mightyleeds.co.uk definitive history website has also not had
any new postings for some time.

However, I've come out of lurkdom to offer you the chance to buy copies of my
two books on the Gods, Leeds United: A History and Billy Bremner 50 Defining
Fixtures. I'll write a personalised message to buyers with every copy.

I'm selling History for £11.50 and Bremner for £9.50 or the two for £20 - free
postage.

Leeds United: A History -

Leeds United AFC was formed in 1919 following the disbanding of Leeds City FC
by the Football League. The team took over the Elland Road stadium and have won
three First Division League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup. The club
also won two Inter-Cities Fairs cups. The majority of the honours were won
under the management of Don Revie in the golden age of the 1960s and '70s. In
Leeds United: A History, author Dave Tomlinson relates the complete and
definitive history of the club from foundation to the present day. He reveals
the voices of the people involved with the club, including supporters, players
and former players, owners, administrators and local writers, to describe the
club's history within its social context, how changes have affected the club
and how developments in football itself have made an indelible impact upon both
the football club and the wider community. This is a must-have for any fan of
the 'Mighty Whites'.

Billy Bremner 50 Defining Fixtures -
William John ‘Billy’ Bremner is one of the true greats of British football. He
captained Don Revie’s Leeds United during the late 1960s and early ’70s – the
most successful period in their history – and went on to make 587 appearances
for the club, as well as winning over fifty caps for his native Scotland. The
diminutive Bremner was the archetypal midfield general, renowned for his
tenacity and tough tackling but also an astute and intelligent user of the
ball, characteristics that helped guide Leeds United to two First Division
titles, a Second Division title, the Inter-City Fairs Cup, FA Cup and a
European Cup Final in 1975, which they lost to Bayern Munich. In Billy Bremner:
Fifty Defining Fixtures, passionate Leeds fan Dave Tomlinson takes a look at
Bremner’s career and remembers the games that defined Leeds United’s greatest
ever player.
