Sorry, Matt, I have to disagree. Myanmar is a country whose leaders openly allowed this ethnic cleansing and murder to happen, and blatantly lied about it to people globally, in spite of all the evidence. By going there, LUFC act as if they don't care, that human lives count for nothing at all, and give tacit support for the regime, as if everything is ok. It's not, as people worldwide have said Maybe there's an untapped football market there; I don't know. I don't care, frankly, when the people running the country are encouraging acts like this. What does the club have planned for a pre-season, a tour of Syria? This isn't just making the club a laughing stock, it's treating all those who died or have fled with utter contempt.
