Agree Rich,
That was the thing, we sort of had a go, but our defending was
schoolboy - they missed two more sitters in the first half - You know,
where were Pontus and Cooper for those first 35 minutes...absolutely
nowhere - the crosses came in (nearly all from Anita's side) and no one
defended the 6 yard box - the first goal was a free, stooping header at
the back post about 4 yards out - how is that not getting blasted out
of there? Pennington was at least no worse than Cooper...
Keeper did OK on the whole (despite being literally thrown to the
Wolves - sorry) - couple of decent enough saves in the first half - the
3rd goal was horrible, but its the kind of thing that is down to
experience nothing else. And when he has that shambles in front of
him...
Philips has never been good enough from the first day he pulled on a
Leeds shirt.
Not sure Sacko touched the ball...but Hernandez made some difference at
least in the second half.
The "fucking great" crowd at Leeds really piss me off - there was "you
useless Spanish XXX"..."you lazy German XXX" being bandied about on the
Kop last night...these fucking wingeing xenophobes get exactly the
quality of football/footballer they deserve.
We are a long way off anything other than mediocre pretending to still
be a "big club" cos we once won some stuff - 25 years since that one
off, 50 years since we were consistently top quality. We sound like a
fucking Brexiter convention rattling on about the days of
Empire...where's my ST renewal form?

Wolves were strong but didn't it just emphasise how far short our
players are.
Philips, Forshaw and Dallas all looked like amateurs and no idea.
Can't believe Sacko was picked over Hernandez. Surely Hecky will
have seen enough now ?
Pistol Pete cannot play as a lone striker and I'm beginning to think
this guy has not got the fitness, sharpness and pace to be effective
in a team like ours. He can't run and every 50:50 challenge he comes
off second best and he looks like a school kid who has just lost a
playground fight and is dusting himself down.
At the back, Anita was destroyed - not for the first time.
Beradi struggled - he was trailing his marker on more than one
occasion.
The young keeper did ok but it was a massive fuck up for the 3rd
goal - schoolboy error.
I thought Hernandez was the only player who showed he had the
ability to trouble Wolves. Quick, direct, FORWARD play that really
troubled them. They weren't that concerned to see Philips receive
the ball, take a few seconds to control it then pass it back to
Jansson.
If there's any credit I'd say with Hernandez spurred us on and I
thought we fought hard second half without giving up although Siaz's
effort / attitude for the last 20 mins was questionable.
Very disappointing night !

Heckingbottom has lost my faith already with choosing Sacko and
Phillips and Anita. All three were woeful.

I can't understand the decision to leave Hernandez (especially) and
Alioski (who always performs better when Saiz is playing) on the
bench. Saiz benefits from creative players to his left and right,
and it's stretching the use of that adjective to apply it to Sacko
and Dallas. I also don't understand the continued preference for
Phillips over Vieira. I hope my concerns are misplaced.
Cheers!
