Cheers for the report Dave. It does seem like we have responsible, (fate, come
on down) forward-looking owners and a belief in putting structures in place to
get us to a higher level. Whilst we've all got our opinions on individual
players, we can see they're 'trying' to do the right thing - even De Bock, who
really has some making up to do now, came in for the right reasons. I
understand the principal Orta talks through, and IF it's correct Heck has the
final say then that seems reasonable too.
Of course, this isn't a marketing strategy though, and another couple of
signings like De Bock, coupled with getting the run around from other rival
teams will mean the managements plans will count for nothing. The gallows
humour and crowd reaction that produced the 2-2 draw is a powerful force, but
it knows the dark side well!!
Finally, and I'm not sure who I last said this about, I think Heckingbottom is
a good coach/manager, and just maybe this won't be another of those 'another
wasted 18 months' appointments?

Surprised no-one has commented on this yet
I watched it on the phone app and they came across reasonably well. The do seem
to have the best interests of the club at heart (that is not to say they are
all philanthropic and not out for themselves)
I like the lines about us being a 'waking giant' not a sleeping one, and when
asked about being able to keep Pontus and Samu, said they are on long
contracts, albiet a club cannot keep a player a la Wood, who wants to get away
but that we are now a 'destination for players rather than a tranisitionary
step up to better places'
Orta, for all the grief he gets at present, again comes across well -
explaining that we have 3,000 games watched a week or something and that it is
impossible for a manager to get to anything like that many games, so Orta and
his scouts find a player who is good, is in the position we need, we can
afford, wants to come / leave his club, and has good character and then Heck
(or Hecky as they all called him) will have the final say
A full transcript has been put on Waccoe - no real revelations but were given
some good questions, none of this what is your favourite band..., and they
answered as well and as openly as they could
Yes it is a PR exercise and yes up to a point we have heard it all before BUT
for once, or for once since Ridsdale , we felt that they were genuine in their
desire for the club to move forward and deserve our backing

Quiz the Chairman, Managing Director and Director of Football.
Supporters will get the opportunity to ask Leeds United’s highest
ranking officials their questions this Monday (26th February) as Andrea
Radrizzani, Angus Kinnear and Victor Orta take part in a live Q&A
session, which will be streamed exclusively on the LUTV App.
We want supporters to put their questions forward to us this weekend by
tweeting them along with the hashtag #ASKLUFC.
Submissions will then be selected at random and put to the men at the
top of the Leeds United hierarchy during the event which will take place
at 12.30pm and will only be available on the LUTV App, which was
launched this summer.
