OVERVIEW FOR ALL FSE MEMBERS - HOW CAN YOU GET ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN FSE?!
Hi there!

Welcome again to the FSE network!

This email is meant to provide you with an overview over our current projects
and campaigns to show you how you can get involved with concrete actions to
become an active member of Football Supporters Europe (FSE). Football
Supporters Europe (FSE) is a mostly volunteer-driven network of grassroots
football fans. It is our aim to change the game for the better and for the
benefit of the interest of our members, especially of all sets of match-going
supporters in Europe. Since you joined FSE with your group, you seem to share
this vision, which is great. But we can only make a change if we are an active
and vibrant network, where as many of us as possible are involved in taking
things further!

All of these activities are currently organised by football supporters in the
FSE membership from across Europe. Apart from that, there are lots of little
things in the background administration of FSE for which we constantly need
support, too.

Make sure you take a look at the action areas below and get in touch with us to
be part of at least one of them soon! At the end of the email, we tell you how
you can get in touch with the respective people responsible for the different
actions!

These are the projects, divisions and action groups you can join - click on the

DETAILED INFO ON CURRENT FSE PROJECTS, DIVISIONS & ACTION GROUPS

CHOREO AND FAN ARRANGEMENTS WORKING GROUP
The aim of this temporary working group is on one hand to learn and to gain
more insight into proceedings and decisions in this area and best practice in
football internationally, but naturally ultimately also to improve conditions
for match-going fans where needed in the future. This email discussion group
was originally established to discuss choreo and fan arrangements at the UEFA
Club Competition Finals. The FSE representatives active in this group meanwhile
had two high-profile meetings with UEFA on the matter and were present as fan
experts at pre-match stadium visits for the Europa & Champions League Finals.
If you want to be involved in this group, it would be beneficial to have
experience in the organisation of tifos/choreographies and fan arrangements
around matches at national or international level.

RESPECT FANS! (#respectfans)
As a protest reaction to the mass punishments logic of UEFA which punishes all
fans, but particularly innocent away fans for the racist actions of a minority
of supporters (that we all don't want in the stadium either), FSE members from
the supporters group Club Nr12 from Bayern Munich, launched a protest
initiative called RESPECT FANS. It calls for UEFA to respect the rights and
needs of genuine fans rather than putting them into one box with racist
perpetrators by punishing them in the same way with measures such as matches
behind closed doors. Club Nr. 12 calls for all fans to put up the banner in
their fan section at European matches and connect it with other actions!

Fans from Manchester City have already joined the action and underlined it by
collectively turning their back on the Champions League hymn. Do you play in
Europe and want to join the campaign? Write us!

FSE FANS GUIDE APP (#fansguideapp)
FSE has developed a Fans Guide smartphone application which is filled by fans,
for fans. The FSE Fans Guide App is a project which is entirely independent,
non-for-profit, most info is available offline (to save roaming costs) and is
entirely subjective. More than 180 clubs from across Europe are already in the
FSE Fans Guide App and we depend on our members and football fans beyond that
to send us their tips and recommendations for their clubs, cities and stadia!
So, to be active here is quite easy for you:

1. Download the FSE Fans Guide App from the app stores for your
smartphone (available for Android and iphone),

2. If your club and city are still missing or if they need to be updated,
submit your feedback through the app

OR download the FSE Fans Guide App questionnaire via this link and send the
completed document back to us!

3. If you are an English native speaker and want to help with
proof-reading the club and stadium info, please let us know!

ALL COLOURS ARE BEAUTIFUL - FSE ANTI-DISCRIMINATION DIVISION
The Anti-Discrimination Division is one of the permanent sub-divisions within
the FSE. Every FSE member that wants to work or is working actively against
discrimination and for diversity inside their fan base or stadium is most
welcome to join this group! At this moment, it is mostly an email list
operating throughout the year where people can share their experiences, but
targeted networking and action meetings are planned to take place in January
2015 at an international indoor fan football tournament and at the European
Football Fans Congress in July 2015.

SECOND FAN SHIRT (#secondfanshirt)
Second Fan Shirt is a football merchandise donation campaign that was launched
under the ALL COLOURS ARE BEAUTIFUL-banner. The goal of the campaign is to get
local, regional and national fan organisations around Europe to collect
football merchandise from their fans for the benefit of refugees
internationally, to raise awareness and show solidarity towards the
devastating situation of refugees. Every FSE member can join the campaign! More
than 50 supporter groups from across Europe have done so already. Get involved
as well! Set up your own action or send in your unused football merch! It is
so easy. More info on how you can be part of #secondfanshirt is available via
this link.

FSE FANS' EMBASSIES DIVISION (#fansembassies)
Another of the permanent sub-divisions of the FSE. The idea of the Fans'
Embassies is to provide support and information for football supporters
travelling to away games or international tournaments in foreign countries. The
provision of a Fans' Embassy service forms a very constructive and positive
part of the hospitality programme at a tournament. At previous tournaments such
as at EURO2012 in Poland and Ukraine, the FSE Fans Embassy Division was active
throughout the tournament with fan teams from 12 countries. With the Fans'
Embassy we can create a sense of security and inclusion between football fans.
This is of course with no other goal but to benefit supporters. At the moment,
fans embassies are provided by national team fans initiatives from more than 20
countries. Want to set up your own fan embassy initiative or join an existing
team?! Check out the FSE Fan Embassy website and get in touch - contact details
below!

FAN IN TROUBLE?! CASE WORK IN MEMBER COUNTRIES
Sometimes, one incidents happens and police or football authorities immediately
thing they should turn the fans world upside down - which mostly means the
introduction of new restrictions or simply more problems. On the basis of
current events and developments and only when there is such a request from the
FSE members themselves, the FSE Committee selects a number of countries each
year where members are supported with targeted actions from our membership from
all over Europe, so that we all together can help them in improving their
situation as fans overall at national level. Especially FSE Committee members
will seek to provide them with particular support for this and put the European
weight behind them, often in actions and meetings behind the scenes.

If you feel that there's an issue in your country that needs our collective
attention, let us know! Right now we're currently particularly active in
Turkey, Spain, Italy and Macedonia.

EFFC#2015 ORGANISING TEAM
A team of FSE members collaborate on organising the next European Football Fans
Congress to be held from 2- 5 July 2015 in Belfast. The EFFC is the biggest
annual conference for organised football fans in Europe. An entire weekend is
dedicated to issues related to football fans. Workshops, presentations, tours,
football and lots more are mixed with a little partying - what's not to like?
The #EFFC2015 Organising Team prepares the workshop programme, venues and the
social events. In this group, you get to connect with football fans from all
around Europe and can shape the event before you even go there. Does this sound
like something you would like to be part of? Let us know your ideas and sign up!

ARE YOU GOOD IN SPEAKING YOUR LANGUAGE OR ARE YOU CREATIVE?
We're always in need of volunteer translators or graphic designers! We run our
website in seven different languages (German, English, Italian, Spanish,
Turkish, Russian, French), and even though we can do a lot, the people in the
FSE Office do not master all the languages. But maybe you can speak at least
one of them? So if you are bi-, tri- or multilingual and want to help spread
the word about FSE in your language, please let us know!

Likewise, we have a fanzine, we do stickers, we do lots of actions - and we
always need translators and graphic designers for that! The more we are, the
less every single one of us has to do.and as active football fans, we're all
quite busy people anyway already. Hence, we never get enough of translators or
graphic designers or computer genius guys etc.

Or is there anything else you are good at of which you think it could be
helpful for FSE? Again, let us know!

GET INVOLVED & SPREAD THE WORD!
If you feel like being a part of the active, ever-expanding membership base of
the FSE and are interested in joining one of the above projects, send an email,
call us, fax us, send us a letter or a pigeon to the FSE Coordinating Office -
we gladly accept all of them as long as this ensures you'll be actively
involved. Find all contact details below!
