I have to say I have never been as uninterested in a World Cup before as I am this time. We have virtually no connection to any team.
I pay no attention whatsoever to the Premier League (when we're not in it) and so I'm almost totally unfamiliar with our team. I was listening to a sports bulletin on the radio the other day and thought they were talking about the New Zealand rugby team when it turned out to be the England national football team!! So many chaps called Lalalala and similar. Are they as English as Mo Farrah? Think I might just watch the test match instead (although that's another England team full of people who aren't really English).
