Well tomorrow sees the end of yet another disappointing season, and one that, for once , started with the promise of better things to come It seems an awfully long time ago when a full house in great sunshine welcomed GFH as our new saviours and Murphys last minute goal sent us all home happy and dreaming of glory !
Tomorrow another decent sized crowd will wave goodbye to a poor season and hopefully to a number of players who will not be missed ! A minutes silence in respect of the murdered teacher will no doubt have the eyes of the country on us - just hope everyone knows it is silence and not applause - that has caused confusion in the past. Let's all hope for better things next season for yet another new dawn, this time under the mad Italian, at least he has kept season ticket prices down (for those who have to pay for them) and brought in a good deal for young children, so he is already better than Bates. The close season will show us what kind of team we will be supporting - maybe more of the same old journeymen never have beens, maybe exotic foreigners, maybe kids , maybe some big names or maybe a mix of them all. Maybe Brian will get a fair crack, maybe he will be out. All I know is that come the start of next season I will, all being well, be there to give my support to the players on the pitch LUFC forever MOT Dave _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] John 'Grampa' Sykes Rest In Peace old lad 28th Oct 1938 - 12 Nov 2013 MARCHING ON TOGETHER
