Just watched the highlights on the Football League show (NOT FL72 or whatever stupid rebranding Sky have given it) They showed 5 bits of action Rody - takes it off one of them near their corner flag and gives it to Mowatt - lovely shot with outside of his boot, saved Rody - bursts down the wing leaving 3 players in his wake and puts in a lovely cross - Smith somehow manages to miss the ball otherwise a certain goal Rody - gets ball in his own half and takes it forward then passes to Ross just inside of the box and he fires home Rody - beats a man and turns towards their goal and puts a lovely ball through to Ross who slotted home
Just before 2nd goal -they had a long range free kick that was probably going over put Kenny tipped over just in case That shows how dynamic and great Rodolph Austin can be and then in other games his touch and passing is woeful and you wonder how he even made it as a footballer ! If we can get the level of performance out of him that we saw at Leicester away and now Brum and Yoevil at home then we have a chance of the play-offs, if we get the Austin that, by all accounts was terrible at Hudds, then we will be bottom half. My concern is that we all seem to agree that Brum and Yeovil were both awful on the day - is Rody one of those 'flat track bullies' who only shows against poor opposition ?
