Define neutral and genuine... chances are we'd sell out a Scum game without neutrals, but you'd have to say since we're currently running 4th in average attendance and the highest gate is still 10k off the official capacity of ER, that's including a lot of fair-weather fans, ex-pats in for a big game and people who've this once overcome their reluctances to give Ken money as genuine.
Plus, if only genuine fans can go, how will we get new ones? Performances in those rare TV appearances have been spotty of late. > Doesn't make sense. One of the better chapters in "Why England Lose" is on the myth that the one-team fan is and has always been in the majority. If anything, fans are more partisan these days (and Nick Hornby's Fever Pitch is apparently one reason for that). - Si _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
