Hans, The intention was to get veth-support for 17.01, as we need this in our Freifunk firmware. As vti/gre/6rd are features not used, it was not found to be broken.
So only picking https://git.lede-project.org/?p=source.git;a=commit;h=4c09f996054ca1fa2bbef6b4ef8acec3f466e839 for 17.01 don't seem to break anything, right? Sven Am 5.
