Excellent! I've long carried an identical local patch for exactly the same reasons, especially the buggy ipv6 subnet expansion. I tried a couple of times to get mine into LEDE but it got lost in the noise. So I'll add my voice to this in the hope it doesn't meet the same fate :-)
